1. EquiTel is not a law firm

EquiTel Compliance Solutions is a telecommunications compliance recovery and advisory firm. We do not practise law, provide legal advice, or represent clients before any tribunal. No attorney-client relationship is created by using this site, submitting an inquiry, or engaging us.

We regularly work alongside clients’ counsel on the regulatory, operational, and documentation side of a matter. Where a matter requires legal representation or legal advice, you should retain qualified counsel. Communications with us are not protected by attorney-client privilege, and you should discuss privilege with your counsel before sharing sensitive material.

2. No outcome guarantees

Telecommunications compliance outcomes depend on facts, regulatory discretion, and third-party decisions outside our control. Nothing on this site — including case examples, described engagements, or statements about typical results — is a promise, prediction, or guarantee of any particular outcome.

3. Informational content is not advice

Articles, glossary entries, and reference material describe how obligations generally operate. They are not tailored to your business and cannot account for your services, structure, footprint, or traffic. Whether an obligation applies to you, and what to do about it, requires analysis of your specific circumstances.

Case studies are published in de-identified form and are illustrative. They do not describe any single identifiable client, and details are generalised to protect confidentiality. Past engagements do not indicate the result of any future engagement.

5. Interactive models

The EquiScore™ explorer and other demonstrations on the Product Experience page are simplified illustrations. They are not assessments, do not measure your business, and should not be relied upon for any decision. A delivered EquiScore™ is produced from evidence during an engagement.

6. Relationship with STIRSHAKEN.AI

STIRSHAKEN.AI is our sister company. It performs regulatory filings and offers STIR SHIELD, a continuous compliance monitoring product. EquiTel clients are under no obligation to purchase any STIRSHAKEN.AI product, and no EquiTel engagement is conditioned on doing so. Any STIRSHAKEN.AI service is contracted separately, on its own terms. STIRSHAKEN.AI is a sister company under common ownership with EquiTel Compliance Solutions LLC. Engaging either company does not commit you to the other, and neither referral carries a fee to you.

8. Third-party marks and non-affiliation

The Federal Communications Commission, the Universal Service Administrative Company, the Secure Telephone Identity Policy Administrator, state public utility commissions, and industry traceback bodies are referenced descriptively. EquiTel Compliance Solutions is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or acting on behalf of any of them. STIR/SHAKEN, and any other third-party names or marks, remain the property of their respective owners.
